Omar Elweshy
Backend Software Engineer
Backend Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience building and scaling systems that serve millions of users. Having worked across Logistics, IoT, Web3, and F&B, I’ve learned to adapt to new contexts fast and focus on what actually matters: shipping reliable software.
Currently, at Foodics, I help build and maintain high-traffic services that support a massive user base. My work spans developing new features, integrating complex external systems, and continuously optimizing service performance.
While I’m highly comfortable with PHP/Laravel, Python/Django, C#/.NET, Golang, and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Kafka, I care more about solving the problem effectively than the specific tool in hand.
Right now, I’m digging deep into System Design, Software Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD), exploring how to structure complex systems that hold up at scale, and actively applying these principles in production.
